Youmeus wins two design awards for kMix packaging
We are delighted to announce that Youmeus have recently won two design awards. 2008 Starpack, Gold and Pentawards Worldwide Packaging Competition, Silver. Both for the packaging design we created on kMix, a Kenwood stand mixer, which we also designed some time ago.

Rip-off
Way back in 2001 we designed a range of contemporary glassware called ‘Inside Out’ which won an award in the 2001 I.D. Annual Design Review. Unfortunately we never got around to brining this range of products to market despite having a lot of interest from consumers and trade alike, who saw our work in I.D. Magazine and on our website.
Well, 7 years later, it appears that a New York based designer has developed a range of glassware also called ‘Inside Out’. We couldn’t help but notice the striking similarity to our own designs. People say "imitation is the best form of flattery”.
Well there you have it – If you have an idea don’t wait around too long!
They are on sale at Charles & Marie in Europe however we’ve seen them and the quality is somewhat disappointing.
